While I'm finishing writing up my weekend adventures, I thought I'd drop a nice visual for the picture-starved. As traditional a summertime activity as ever there was, the cutting of the watermelon has yet to be a common practice (or anytime practice) in DC for me. A buddy, though, is supposed to well-practiced in the trick involving drilling a core and emptying a bottle of vodka into the mel-...well, well, look at the time. I guess that story will have to wait for another post. Right then, more en route, as usual. Cool picture, no?
