Elafonissi
On the southwestern edge of Crete, there's a spectacular beach, Elafonissi Beach. One of its more impressive features I chose to profile in the next five pictures. My little photo series highlights the uniform shallowness of the water for hundreds of yards all around. This allowed the typically chilly waters to become quite warm, relatively speaking, and allowed you to frolic in the waves doing your best David Hasselhoff impression to your heart's content (don't think I didn't). I didn't think anyone would believe me, so I took these pictures. Yep, I took them all, using my third, invisible arm...made out of really stretchy flesh...like Gonzo. Seriously.
