Update

Update to the MIC Contest:

I realized people might get bored with questions that are never answered. Accordingly, if a contest post is faced with a dearth of responses, I might go ahead, and throw out an explanation of the quote.

Also, due to overwhelming reader suggestion, I'll be putting up questions that don't demand as much R&D to be anywhere near accurate. For example, see the question below.

Question:

"Define the principle of YIMBY-FAP and give an example of it."

There's the question, which just requires you to write out what the acronym stands for and offer an example. Hopefully, that will make things easier and ease the reader complaints.

Any suggestions on how to further improve the contest are appreciated and welcomed. Remember that there are prizes involved, and given the relatively low readership of the blog, everyone's got a decent chance. A real decent chance. And I'm extending the prize structure (again at reader suggestion) out a couple more places beyond first and second. Possible second, third, and beyond prizes include many different things, but I'll decide on those for certain later.
