Still Papering

Well, honestly, at the moment, I'm at work. But Thucydides still hangs over my head, preventing me from recounting recent adventures. But not to fear, the stories are percolating in my mind, brewing to a fine fettle in the kettle of my noodle...or something like that. Until then, here's a quote from Winston Churchill...

And one of his closest friends, Lord Birkenhead, noted that it had been reported of Churchill,"and I believe truly, that a friend once lent him Welldon’s translation of Aristotle’s ‘Ethics,’ with a particular request that he should carefully study what that friend (rightly or wrongly) believed to be the greatest book in the world. Winston read it (or read part of it) and is reported to have said that he thought it very good. ‘But,’ he added, ‘it is extraordinary how much of it I had already thought out for myself.’"
