George Allen

Another topic on which I have no authority to comment: the upcoming presidential campaign. I say upcoming with more than a hint of sarcasm since it is 2006, people. However, since the topic refuses to wait its turn like other reasonable news stories, I'll point you in the direction of a good article from TNR that demonstrates pretty clearly why George Allen has a dark past. Even if you're not particularly politically enthusiastic, it's a good read to determine how manufactured political personalities are and what strange characters they conceal.
