Laughing Out Loud
As part of my continuing efforts to fail my final semester in school, I'm reading Kingsley Amis when I should be sleeping. More on the author later, but for now, a hilarious line:
"He lay sprawled, too wicked to move, spewed up like a broken spider-crab on the tarry shingle of the morning...His mouth had been used as a latrine by some small creature of the night and then as its mausoleum."It gets even better, but I'll save the rest for the morning myself.
