The MSU and Pizza, Too
Liveblogging of sorts...
I'm sitting in a large lecture hall, and while it's not exactly close to filling, there's a decent number of people in attendance. Doesn't look like things are about to start any time soon. The students in attendance, thus far, are from a reasonably diverse group, at least in terms of ethnicity. A single banner hangs over the chalk board: "In the name of God most gracious, most merciful." Arabic greetings are starting to fly, and I, am feeling a bit self-conscious about reading Reflections on the Revolution in France. Not that it makes any sense or there's any connection in the slightest. I'm just enjoying the vague sensation of being a spy of sorts. Um, a hungry spy.
Ooooh, first controversial comment. A pair of Arabic speakers behind me just broke into English to say..."Where's the pizza?"
But seriously, I did just walk by a fellow saying angrily into his phone, "I hate free speech."
I think he might have been joking. Hrm, I hope.
